On Thursday, July 17, Iowa Lieutenant Governor Chris Cournoyer made a visit  Co-Line. During her 90 minute visit, the Lieutenant Governor toured three of Co-Line’s buildings, including the new 70,000 square foot addition to the first manufacturing building that is nearing completion. Eric Brand gave the Lieutenant Governor, along with Iowa State Senator Ken Rozenboom and State Representative Barb Kniff McCulla, a golf cart tour of the campus. Highlights of the tour included the different automation and robotics that Co-Line continues to invest in for the manufacturing process.

After her visit, Lieutenant Governor Cournoyer shared this quote, “It was an honor to visit a growing, family-owned business that has great opportunities and a positive culture for their employees. Their commitment to their customers and partners around the world has earned them a reputation of integrity and we are proud they call rural Iowa home.”

“We appreciate the Lieutenant Governor stopping in rural Iowa, taking time out of her busy schedule. It was exciting to see her enthusiasm for Iowa manufacturing and her genuine interest in our people and processes that help us shape the metal that moves the world. The future is bright in manufacturing and with her and Governor Reynolds’ support for private business, our intentions are to continue growing, providing exceptional service and products, not only in Iowa, but across the nation and the world,” said Brand.
