Smith and O’Dell retire after a combined 34 years of service to Team Co-Line
Two Co-Liners achieved retirement milestones at Co-Line last month. Gary Smith retired after nearly 18 years of service to Co-Line as Quality Manager. A retirement party was held on Thursday, Feb. 13, with Gary’s family and fellow Co-Liners enjoying cake, and a few of Gary’s favorite drinks, Dad’s root beer and Arnold Palmer. Gary was awarded a laser cut sign with one of his favorite Bible verses and a gift card to help kick start his retirement projects.
The following week, Bob O’Dell, night shift team lead, also retired from Co-Line. Bob served the night shift well for almost 16 years. The night shift team enjoyed a pizza party and cake with Bob and his wife, Lesa O’Dell, on Tuesday, Feb. 18. A custom Co-Line bench was given to Bob as a token of appreciation. Bob is looking forward to spending more time on his family farm and visiting family.
“Both Gary and Bob served Co-Line well, giving a combined 34 years of service to Team Co-Line,” said Eric and Faye Brand. “While we are sad to see that much talent and years of service and knowledge leave Co-Line, we are very happy for them to be able to enjoy retirement and this next phase of life. They both exemplified Co-Line’s core values and had a servant heart and desire to do what’s right for the company and the customer every time.”
