Employee number 11 retires after 31 years – thank you, Bryan!

Bryan “Red” De Jong clocked out for the final time on Friday, Dec. 20, after 31 years and nine months of dedicated service to Team Co-Line and the Brand Family. Officially employee #11, Bryan started with Co-Line on March 15, 1993. Through the years, Bryan served in many roles as a welder, Goalsetter weld supervisor, saw operator, VMC operator, purchasing, tug driver, trainer, and customer accounts manager.
Bryan experienced many wonderful highs during his tenure at Co-Line as well as devastating lows during his working career at Co-Line. Losing close co-workers Ron Walker, DJ Haines, Sheryl Hopkins, and Buddy Bills were probably some of the lowest time. But Bryan was a rock to many with his supportive smile and faith. Bryan was an integral part of many crazy parties. He was seen in a sun dress, dressed up as Santa Claus, and was even a finalist in the Crazy Legs contest. Bryan also shared his musical talents with Team Co-Line on a few occasions.
There were numerous laughs shared with all who met Bryan. His face sometimes turning red like his nickname with all the inside jokes and comical humor. Thank you and best wishes to Bryan as he becomes a fulltime golfer in his retirement!
